VIDEO – Tse’K’Wa Update with Alyssa Currie – Before the Peace

This month, Tre caught up with Alyssa Currie, the executive director of the Tse’K’Wa Heritage Society, to get an update on the historic site, formerly known as the Charlie Lake cave.

The last time we talked to Alyssa on the podcast was August 2022, so since then, a lot of work has been done at the site, including an archaeology dome, an amphitheatre and an interpretive trail.

We also chatted with Alyssa, who has been with the society since 2021, about the weight of being responsible for a very important piece of history in the region and balancing work with building relationships.
